Lovely Double Room in Female House share.Tooting

We are three girls looking to fill the gap of our fourth housemate who will be moving out at the end of May. We’re all in our 30s and have varying schedules ( one owns her own beauty business, one works in marketing for a record label and one works for the NHS).

The room:
It’s a large double on the first floor. Big windows that face out onto the garden. It comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, two bedside tables, chest of drawers.

The house:
The house is a large 5-bedroom property over three floors. The kitchen and lounge are on the ground floor. Both with access to the large south facing garden. The small 5th bedroom on the first floor is used for guests/laundry.

The area:
For those new to Tooting, we’re an equal distance to both Tooting Bec and Broadway, with great tube and bus links, as well as a 20-minute walk to Balham for the overground train. There are lots of supermarkets (Lidl and Tesco Express both within 5-minute’s walk), shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars/pubs within short walking distance (including the fantastic Tooting Market).

The small print:
The room will be available to move in 1st June.
Rent is £450/month and bills are £102/month into a kitty (which covers gas, electric, water, council tax, wi-fi, Netflix, and general house goods)
Deposit is £400.

We rent with private landlords, so there’s no admin/agency fees; however, a recent reference will be required.

We’re all friends, so we equally love to hang out at home/do things outside the house together, as well as respecting one another’s space and enjoying time with our own circles of friends.
We’re looking for someone in the same age group (30+) who will treat the house as a home, is keen to be friends as well as housemates, and who is happy to join us for the odd wine and movie nights in :)
