Double Room - 7 min walk to Tooting Bec Station

Hello! We are 3 friends looking for a fourth flatmate to join our lovely house in Tooting Bec from 1st July.

About us:
We are Matt (25), Sunita (23) and Ruth (27), looking for someone of a similar-ish age to join our home. We are all professionals working in creative/public sector industries.

We are looking for someone who is clean and tidy, and also friendly and respectful! We are an LGBTQ-friendly house, ideally looking to live with another girl or gay/queer guy.

We love to explore London and the outdoors nearby. We all have our own social groups and activities, but really enjoy hanging out together too. We‘re all active and enjoy going to the gym, playing sports and running. There’s a range of gyms, as well as local sports clubs nearby.

The house and location:
The house is a 5-7 minute walk from Tooting Bec Station (Northern Line - 25 mins in to Central London). It is also a 5 min walk to Tooting Common. It is a 10 minute walk to Tooting Broadway, close to shops, charity shops and Tooting Market where there are bars, food stalls and music.

There are nice pubs and shops close by, and we live about a 15 min walk from the cafes and restaurants in Balham too. We’re very close to green space with Tooting Common round the corner, and Clapham and Wandsworth Common within walking distance too. We’re close by to supermarkets including Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s and Lidl. It’s a residential area with lots of families on our street and plenty of people around on the main road, so feels very safe.

The house is a large 2 floor, semi-detached house with a lovely garden, great for BBQs in the summer! It is fully furnished and there is space for two small cars in the drive way.

The room is a large first floor double. It has a wardrobe, a desk and mirror, as well as a bedside table. There is storage under the bed and on top of the wardrobe.

Landlord/Rent/Bills/Checks:
Rent is £950, bills are not included but are normally around £90 a month. There is a security deposit of 5 weeks rent. You will need to go through employment checks with our landlady.
