My current housemate is moving out, and I am looking for someone to share my current flat in Tooting Bec with!
The flat is available from 8th Sept, and our estate agent wants a new tenant to be in referencing by 8th August. To note, our estate agent is requiring a new tenant to earn 2.5x the rent to pass their referencing checks.
It's a large, light, airy and very spacious ensuite double room - it is unfurnished (other than a bed and mattress), but my current housemate is happy to sell some furniture (dresser, desk, and wardrobe) to a new tenant if desired. There is also an extra built-in closet and the bathroom has storage.
Some details about the flat:
The building is secure and safe. We're right by the common, and the surrounding area is quiet. We have a car parking permit, and there are always lots of spaces right outside our building.
The flat itself is in good, clean condition and very spacious. It has a spacious living-dining room, a large kitchen with lots of cupboard space, good sized appliances (like the fridge and freezer) and, most importantly, a dishwasher. Plus the flat has lots of storage space (more than enough for 2 people). There is also a balcony with space to sit outside.
Council tax Band D (Wandsworth) - one of the cheapest Council Taxes in the country.
Transport:
15 mins walk from Tooting Bec tube and Tooting train station, near lots of bus connections to Central London and nearby Balham/Clapham (plenty of amenities, big supermarket etc).
