Double bedroom in Tooting Bec

My flatmate will be leaving at the start of October so this is an opportunity to take over the lease for her room (a double room with natural light and a built in wardrobe), and sign on for another year.

The flat has plenty of shared areas, a huge lounge with space to work from home, a keyboard, exercise bike and a big TV, a kitchen-dinning room and a private garden. Central heating, and lots of lovely natural light throughout the flat. The bathroom has underfloor heating and the rooms heat up quickly in the winter. There is plenty of storage in the loft too. The kitchen has all the mod-cons: kettle, toaster, microwave, hand blender, slow cooker /pressure cooker.
It’s a really lovely flat on a quiet residential street with v chill neighbours.

Transport: The flat is about a 12 minute walk to Tooting Bec station and 7 minutes to the common. We have a coffee shop and corner shop at the end of the road, and the high street (upper tooting road & mitcham road) have everything you need, plenty of shops, a big Sainos, Lidl, Aldi, primark, maccas; the lot. Tooting station (thameslink) is 16 mins away and the 319 to Sloane Square and 249 to Clapham Common are 9 mins away. We are also a 20-40 minute walk to Balham (depending on how much of a detour your take through the common), which has a train station (southern), a big Waitrose and sainos plus lots more cafes.

You will be living with Marina, a 28 y-o professional working in finance. Mar has lived in Tooting for 3 years now and is looking for a new housemate for the next year!
We are looking for someone who is sociable, happy to chill with some vino after work, appreciates good food, and is up for the occasional pub quiz.

Bills aren’t included and we pay a direct debit of around £100 each but more in winter.

1 year lease starting early October, likely the 11th October. There is potential flexibility for a short-term arrangement for the month of October.
