Double Bed Ensuite in Town House!

Hello!

We are looking for a new housemate to rent a big double bedroom with ensuite in our lovely big house in Tooting Bec, across a 12 month contract from the 27th of October.

About the room

The room itself is fairly large (size x size) and comes furnished, with double bed, 2x wardrobes, 1x chest of drawers, along with its own private ensuite bathroom with bath/shower. It is at the back of the house so looks over the garden and is in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

The room is £750 per month + approx £125 bills, which goes into a communal account covering all utilities, council tax, internet, Netflix, tv licence etc. Please note, the bills will increase (potentially up to £150) through winter due to heating costs and we may negotiate if you are in a situation where you permanently work from home.

About the housemates

Our current housemate group are Tim, Jo & Georgia who are a mixed gender household.
We are late 20s-early/mid 30s so we are looking for someone of similar age. We all work different jobs at different hours, sometimes working from home, sometimes with early starts/ late finishes but we are respectful with noise! We are very chilled as a household and not really looking for someone to be partying until the early hours, but we will definitely join you at the pub for a pint on a sunny afternoon. We’re all fairly sociable and often will watch things or stop for a chat so we’re looking for someone who would fit the dynamic and feel at home here with us.
We have loads of different interests, travel, food, music, arts, film etc.
We keep a good level of general tidiness and maintenance around the house, and would expect the same of whoever moves in.

About the house

We live opposite Tooting Common so there is lots of lovely green space in the area, with the athletics track and lido nearby (x mins walk), plenty of transport connections to Balham, Tooting Broadway, Clapham Junction, Streatham, most within walking distance, also great connections into the city.

The house itself is spread over 4 floors, so feels very spacious. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total (2 of which are ensuites) between 4 housemates so you never have to wait for the shower!
We have lots of communal space on the entry level, with a large living room with Juliet balcony, and a separate good sized kitchen. On the ground floor we have a small utility room, with washing machine and dryer, next to the garage which can be accessed via the house. We have a driveway which can fit 1 car and 2 parking permits so good news if you drive.
