George and Megan here, our flatmate is moving out having recently bought their own place, and we’re looking to fill the room in our homely 3 bedroom flat in Tooting Bec.

About the room/flat:

- We have a furnished double bedroom up for grabs, comes with bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
- You have your own private toilet and sink in the form of a mini bathroom in the room next to you
- Bathroom (with shower/bath) shared with 1 other
- Spacious living room and kitchen
- Large loft for storing anything big or bothersome
- Parking available
- Rent is £608 per month, and bills come to just under £100 on top of that.
- Room is available from Jan 29th 2025

Location:

- 10 minute walk from Tooting Bec station
- Situated right at the edge of Tooting Bec common, gorgeous for winter walks or enjoying the lido in the summer, or the parkrun on Saturday mornings (which we often do!)
- Balham is also near with its vast brunch and shopping spots, as is Tooting Broadway with the iconic Tooting Market, lots to enjoy
- Good transport links with the Northern line taking 20 minutes into central London, Balham is also close by with National Rail

Accessibility:

- Flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift, so unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users

About us!

- I (George) work in tv as an editor for a country music entertainment company based in Nashville. It’s not all yeehaw though as I’m also a drag queen, I produce big scale drag shows in theatres and take them across the country. I work in my office 2-3 days a week, otherwise I’m beavering away on sparkly outfits in my room. I’m big on cooking and often make meals for the flat, so anyone who’s also a fan of cooking (or just eating) is welcome here
- Megan also works in tv, she produces and directs true crime documentaries on top of a whole host of other shows. Megan also plays tag rugby in the local Tooting team, and also DJs in her spare time, as well as enjoying my cooking.
- The pair of us are great friends and really call this flat a home, we love hanging out together, throwing board game nights, dinner parties, enjoying a roast on Sundays at the local pub. If this sounds like your kind of vibe, get in touch!
