Hi!
I’m looking for someone to take over my room in a cosy flatshare as I’m moving back to NZ. You’ll be joining 2 other guys in their late 20s - early 30s, one works as an analyst and another one in sport / recreation. Both are tidy, respectful, helpful whenever you need a favour and just really easy going in general!
We all have different schedules and hobbies so the place would suit someone who enjoys their own downtime / space but doesn’t mind having a friendly conversation every now and then.
The landlord is also very relaxed and responsive to requests.
The flat is not a party house but we do invite friends every now and then.
The flat is situated on Lynwood Road which is a 6 minute walk to Tooting Bec Station (easy access to the Northern Line). The nearest bus stop is a 1 minute walk away (good for catching routes 219, 355 and 155). There are also plenty of supermarkets within easy walking distance such as:
Tesco express (1 min)
Lidl (5 mins)
Sainsburys (10 mins)
The location is also perfect for someone working at St Georges’s NHS Hospital as it’s only a 15-20min walk away.
The nearest park is Tooting common which is a nice 20 min walk.
The bedroom is a good size, fully furnished with a double / queen bed, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, drawers and a shelf for storage. It also comes with a desk and chair suitable for someone working from home. The room has a large window overlooking a garden at the back and it gets a lot of light in the summer. During the winter the house is well insulated so it’s always toasty and warm.
The flat has 1 seperate toilet and bathroom with a shower / bath to share between 3 people. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking ware and a new washing machine was installed a few months ago.
Rent is £925 per month which is inclusive of all bills (water, electricity, power, council tax, internet) but you will need to sort out your own TV licence.
The contract is for 12 months minimum stay but afterwards is rolling with a 2 month notice period. I’ve lived here for almost 1 year and the other flatmates for about 2-3 years. Previous tenants have lived here for a similar amount of time so it’s easy to feel comfortable and right at home.
Move in date is from 16 November 2025

Viewings will be done in the evening between 7pm-8pm on Wednesday 22nd Oct and 6pm-8pm on Thursday 23rd Oct
