I’m moving in with my boyfriend and (sadly!) parting with my en-suite bedroom in a 2 beds, 2 baths flat that I currently share.
Rent is £1350 and bills are £130 per month
The flat is incredibly well located, just off the Upper Tooting Road, right in the middle of Tooting Bec and Tooting Broadway (a short 7 mins walk from each, 5 mins if you’re a fast walker like me).
The room has a skylight and a double door leading out into the garden which means it gets a lot of sunlight. It’s spacious and I could easily fit shelves/rail, my double size bed, and my desk.
The flat is on the ground floor of a house which was split into 2 flats, but you won’t hear the upstairs neighbours as their flat doesn’t go over the bedroom since it was added later on as an extension (which is why you get a cool skylight as well!).
You’ll be sharing the living room and kitchen with Jameson. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hob, big fridge and big freezer (plenty for 2 people!). We also share appliances (toaster, kettle, air fryer, etc.).
I’m already pretty much living with my boyfriend, so the flat available on very short notice — we’d just need to take the time to conclude the formalities like getting you set up as a new tenant on the lease instead of me etc. We have our lease until July 2026, so you would be expected to remain in the flat at least until then, and then feel free to extend the lease if you want!
