Large double bedroom

Very large double bedroom, comes with the important stuff like a bed and wardrobe, but still loads of space to add your own furniture or ideal if you WFH.

The room is at the front of the house on Tooting Bec Rd, which can be busy, but there are big windows that let in loads of natural light.

One shared toilet/bathroom, a decent-sized lounge, and a small but newly renovated kitchen. There’s also a small outdoor area which is great in the summer.

Location is spot on — 2 min walk to Tooting Bec station, Tooting Common, and the Rose & Crown pub is very close. If you don’t know the area too well, Tooting High Street has all the shops you need plus great restaurants, and the markets make for a good night out. Balham is also very close and is a great hub for shops, restaurants, and bars.

Flatmates are two sound Irish guys (didn’t know each other beforehand) in their early 30s. One is really into fitness and Muay Thai, the other is big into football and being social. They respect each other’s space and live busy lives, but are always up for a chat, a catch-up, or watching something together.

They’re looking for someone sound, similar age, respectful, clean, and easy to get on with. No gender preference, and WFH is ideal for this room.

Bills are fairly cheap, around £100 each per month, and the internet is good. There will be a deposit paid through the landlord — either the same as the rent or less.

I’ll be paying rent up until the end of February, so the room is technically available from the start of March, but there’s some flexibility before then if you want to work something out.
