THE FLAT:

This newly built ground-floor flat was built in March 2023 and has been furnished to a high-spec throughout. The flat has beautiful high ceilings throughout and the living area has floor to ceiling french doors. In the Summer, the south-facing private patio is a sun trap and includes BBQ, firepit, table and chairs and will soon feature a new outdoor sofa area.

The flat comes fully furnished and also features the latest Smart Home tech including Sony 4K TV, Sonos speakers in every room, Hive thermostat and WiFi lights throughout.

The bedroom for rent sits at the front of the house and includes new furniture including 'Emma' bed and mattress, chest of drawers, bedside table and a large wardrobe. The room is also adjacent to the bathroom which acts like an en-suite!

If you sometimes work from home, you’re welcome to work on the breakfast bar or in the living area — on the days I work from home I’ll be in my bedroom so won’t disturb you.

THE AREA

Tooting is a vibrant South London hotspot with its mix of famous curry houses, independent boutique stores, coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a number of high street retailers.

Conveniently situated a 5-minute walk from Tooting Broadway Underground Station and a 10-minute walk from Tooting Station provides you with excellent transport options with both Thameslink Railway and Northern Line Underground.

I also pay for a lovely cleaner, Magda, to clean all rooms in the flat every week too.

THE LANDLORD/TENANT (ME):

You’ll be sharing with a gay professional male. I run my own marketing agency and am in the office a minimum of 3 days a week. However, there are times when I don’t leave at all and just enjoy living in the flat. I like to socialise and sometimes have friends over, but I also love to just chill and watch tv. There are no particular house rules, it is just important we can get along. Oh, and I also have a Miniature Dachshund (see below).

THE SAUSAGE DOG:

The other tenant who you’ll be sharing with is Roxy, a 4yr old Miniature Dachshund. Roxy is uber-friendly, small and sassy and also loves cuddles on the sofa. She comes to work with me most days so won’t get in your way in the flat. Roxy loves going for walks and chasing squirrels in the common at the end of the road and is always looking for more friends to accompany her, if you wish to join!
