Large double room in Tooting Broadway

Regrettably I’m moving out of my lovely home in Tooting after two years. I’m sad to be leaving behind two amazing flatmates and a great home that needs someone new.

Location:

The home is a 3 min walk from Tooting Broadway station (northern line). It’s 30 mins to London Bridge and around 45 mins to Central London. There are multiple supermarkets including a Sainsbury’s, Tesco express, and Aldi all within a 10 minute walk of the house, with many great pubs and cafes along the way.
The house is a short walk to Tooting market and Tooting common.

The home:

The home is located on a quiet residential street, with available parking (resident permit holders only). The ground floor has a shared living room and kitchen, with a small downstairs toilet and access to the garden. Upstairs has the main bathroom and two rooms (including yours). There is also a garden which is great in the summertime.
The room itself faces out to the front of the house and gets natural light.

Flatmates:

You’ll be living with Simon (28) and Lydia (23). Simon is a campaign manager and loves all things sport, regularly playing golf, hanging out with friends and watching the football. Lyds is an Artist in residence at a school and loves hanging out with her friends, going to the gym, and going to art shows.

They’re great and are looking for someone sociable, easy going, keen for pub trips and fun activities as it’s very much a friendly house and not your usual spare room atmosphere!

Other bits:

The room is £775 and Bills come to around £100pm. We currently work with an agency who deal with house queries and questions.
We are within the Wandsworth council tax code (so our council tax is cheaper than neighbouring boroughs) but this is included in bills. The deposit is £925 but for some reason SpareRoom wouldn’t let me put that amount in!

The room itself comes with a bed, wardrobe and a large chest of drawers.

I’m looking to move into my new place on the 7th May so anytime after then would be ideal.
