Large bedroom with an en-suite (almost), in a big victorian house with one other couple!

Large bedroom for couples situated on the top floor of a beautiful Victorian house. It has its own large bathroom right next door with roll top bath and walk-in shower. It also comes with two huge eaves in the bedroom for storage, as well as built in wardrobes and draws. There are sky lights and a window on the other side so the room gets great sunlight all day round! Please note the room will come unfurnished.

Price- £890 each inc all bills (total of £1780).

The house itself is a large victorian property (bay windows? yes please) sharing with one other couple. The street has a great sense of community (with the occasional street party), and is a great balance of being near the station, food market and still nice and quiet. The house is very homely and fully furnished by us since Jan. There is a large open plan living room and dining room with a separate kitchen. We have a downstairs loo with a washing machine and tumble dryer!!! The kitchen has two fridges, freezer and a dishwasher.

We have a lovely garden with a mix of patio and astro so it looks green and tidy all year round! It’s got a nice big shed for storage and a large seating area for summer bbqs.

We’ve got a good blow up mattress on the go for guests to come and stay in the office/spare room!

Now for the fun bit. You’ll be sharing with one other couple. We are Alex and Max, a long term couple who wanted to downsize from shared houses but still have catch ups in the kitchen with others!! We’re pretty sociable, and are always down for a pub quiz or a dinner and a movie night. Also love a board game so happy to have a bit healthy competition in the house 😅 Completed the mental house share thing at Leeds Uni and now just looking to keep this place a chilled out home.

Alex - 26, project manager. Cats over dogs. Wears slippers 95% of the time. Trying to get into walking but has calves like twiglets. Is terrible at writing ads that don’t make me sound like i’m 80?

Max - 27, film Director. Keeps Spotify algorithm on its toes. Had a recent mid life crisis and got very into sourdough. Planning to do the Valencia marathon if the practice runs don’t kill me first.
