We have a beautiful double room available in our large 4‑bedroom house!

Our current housemate is moving closer to work, so we’re looking for a friendly and sociable person to join our home from the end of March 2026. The rent is £735 per month, and utilities are usually £80–100 depending on the season (gas, electric, council tax, broadband, water and a kitty for house bits included).

The Room
The room is partially furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed and a Kallax unit. The other furniture in the photos may available to buy from our outgoing housemate.

Important note:
The room is located right next to the front door and picks up noise from around the house and the street. It’s absolutely fine for most people, but if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this likely won’t be the right fit - we want to be upfront so no one ends up uncomfortable!

The House
4 bedrooms across 3 floors, a separate kitchen, living room, downstairs toilet, bathroom, a large basement for storage, and a garden. We’re on a residential street with permit parking and a coffee shop, café, chippy and corner shop nearby.

Buses to Balham, Earlsfield, Croydon, Victoria, Putney, Streatham

The Household
You’ll be living with Sian, Charlotte and Lucy. We have lived here between 1–5 years. We get on well, spend time together when we can, but also have our own lives. We work in legal, theatre, and hospitality.

House standards:
We’re really big on everyone contributing to keeping the house clean and comfortable. We don’t have a cleaning rota, but we each take turns giving one communal area a proper clean about once a month. Day‑to‑day, we all clean up after ourselves, take bins out when needed, and generally stay on top of things. We don’t want to sound intense but want our new housemate to contribute in the same way - it just works well for us and keeps the house feeling like a nice home!

We’re definitely more of a home than a crash‑pad, so ideally our new housemate is social, friendly, clean and respectful. To keep the age balance, we’re looking for someone 26-32.

We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly house. Reference checks will be completed by the letting agency before moving in.
