Description
**Overview and location:
Room in a friendly flat close to the local amenities in Tooting. Approximately five minutes walk from Tooting Thameslink station; about ten from Tooting Broadway underground; fifteen St. George’s Hospital/University.
The area has a large Lidl and Sainsbury's nearby, as well as a Sainsbury Local right around the corner -- in addition to greengrocers at Tooting Market. Plenty of gym options, pound stores, charity shops, and affordable restaurants for South Asian food especially. There's a green space a 5-10 min. walk and Tooting Common 15-20 min. walk away (or bus).
**About us:
Current housemates (two males one female, 2 British and 1 American -- Tom, Kelsey, and Jay) all early 30s, and work in Acting, Education and Church. Our ideal housemate would be someone who is LGBTQ+/ LGBTQ+ ally, all genders welcome. We are also neurodiverse and student- friendly.
We very much treat the place like our home, and get on well, and want someone who fits in, is generally tidy and cleans up after themselves. We're not a party house but do try and socialise together--ex. a pub quiz every now and then. The Landlord is pretty decent with repairs etc.
** About the flat
The flat is on a quiet road and has one full bathroom (bath/shower, WC) and one half (WC only), a washing machine and tumble drier and a **spacious living room** and a kitchen.
Room comes with double bed/bookshelf/wardrobe/desk.
There's an extra wardrobe in the hall for storage, as it is the smallest room in the flat. We also have lofts for storage.
(Please note that the room will come with a more sensible bed and desk than in the pictures, so it will be a tad more spacious when you move in.)
Bills are currently circa £100 a month, we use splitwise and so that figure that includes cleaning products, toilet roll, kitchen roll, and occasional visits by a cleaner for the communal areas.
**Moving forward
If interested, please tell us a bit about yourself. Able to accommodate zoom viewings.

The landlord has been open to pets in the past, so you may be able to negotiate if needed.
