Hello!
I have just bought my first house and I'm currently looking for someone to take over my room in our beautiful Tooting flat, located just around the corner from Tooting Market, from beginning of January.
The area is incredibly convenient and has loads to offer in terms of restaurants, shops and pubs, and the flat is only a short walk away from both Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec station (5 mins and 15 mins respectively).
About the flat:
I am looking for someone friendly, clean and considerate to join my wonderful flatmates, Carla and Jeni, in our 3-bedroom flat. The flat has an open-plan living room and kitchen and is filled with natural light. It has two bathrooms (one big bathroom and one smaller guest bathroom) and also includes a washing machine and dryer.
About my flatmates:
Jeni and Carla both work full-time – Carla works in the NHS and Jeni works in legal and they usually work in the office, with occasional days working from home. In their free time, they like to travel, go for runs in Tooting Commons (which is only a 10-min walk from the flat) and, as a flat, we have gone out for dinners and drinks together for a nice catch-up from time to time. However, we've also been great at giving each other space for much needed chill time after busy days at work.
About the room:
The room is spacious and comes with a double bed and wardrobe – with space for a desk for those who need to work from home. The current tenancy agreement will be renewed on 7th March 2026, so they would be looking for someone to enter into a new contract with them – contract duration would be 12 months. There is however a 6-month break-out clause, if required, and a fee of £50 would need to be paid to the agency. You would also be expected to find a replacement tenant.
Bills are estimated as follows:
Rent - £975
Deposit - £1,115.39
Bills - £100 (includes water, council tax, broadband and electricity)
