Double room for a couple from 30 January (Tooting)

My partner and I are relocating to New Zealand, so we’re looking for a couple to take over our room in a sunny 2-bedroom flat. Singles are also welcome, but the rent remains the same as it reflects the existing split of the flat under the current lease. This will therefore best suit a couple (or a single with a higher housing budget).

The flat is in a great spot - just a 10-minute walk to both Tooting Broadway Underground and Tooting Station. You’ll also have loads of supermarkets nearby, including a big Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl, plus Tesco/Sainsbury’s Express options.

The room and flat come fully furnished. There’s also an outdoor area to enjoy. The room has a double bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers, side tables, sitting chair, and large built-in wardrobe.

Rent: £1,440 per month (excluding bills)

Lease: Until 27 October 2026, with a break clause on 27 April 2026

You’ll be sharing with our lovely Kiwi friend (34), a working professional who’s friendly, tidy, and super easy to live with. She’s hoping to find a couple around a similar age who are respectful, clean, and looking for a comfortable, relaxed home.

Requirements:

- Right to Rent in the UK.
- Full-time employment preferred.
- Standard referencing & affordability checks via the letting agents.
- Deposit: £1,846.15 (note this is equivalent to 5 weeks rent based on total rent for the whole flat, when divided evenly by 3 people)
