Bright Double Room near Tooting Broadway

I’m looking for a friendly housemate to take the bright double room in my Tooting flat!

My name’s Ellie and I’ve been living here for just over a year with my cat Daisy. After a few short term lets to friends, I’m looking to find a friendly housemate to take on the room.

The room is spacious with huge windows and loads of natural light; there’s a wardrobe, dresser, and plenty of room for a wfh desk setup. The flat has a separate living room with a TV, a large bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen (air fryer, coffee machine etc).

It’s on a quiet street about a five minute walk from Tooting Broadway station. If you don’t know the area, there are loads of gorgeous cafes and restaurants nearby, decent shops and a couple of good gyms in easy distance. If the tube is ever down, Tooting station is about a ten minute walk in the other direction, which I thiiiink is Thameslink maybe?

I’m a civil servant working in Westminster, but I work from home a fair few days a week. I’ve got a good group of friends living nearby, and I tend to spend my evenings either at the gym, having a glass of wine at a friend’s house, or at home cooking (I’m currently trying to perfect my hummus recipe). My cat Daisy is the sweetest little idiot, but I probably wouldn’t recommend applying if you’re allergic to cats!

I’m super flexible about the move in date, I’d rather find somebody who’s a good fit and make sure we’d be happy sharing the space with each other. I like to keep the place clean and tidy, but I’m not obsessive about it- so I’m looking for someone who’s on a similar wavelength. I’m not home every night as I’ve said, so someone who’s got their own life and community of friends in South London would be a good fit. That being said, I’m always keen for the odd evening in to watch Traitors or Married at First Sight, or for a few drinks at the local pub!
