Area: the flat is 10 mins walk from Tooting Broadway tube station (Northern line) 25 mins walk from Wimbledon Park (District line) and 2 mins from the nearest bus stop. The flat 5 minutes from a big Lidl, Greggs, Starbucks and Pets at Home. It is 2 minutes from a corner shop to buy a last minute bottle of stress wine. The estate is really quiet and safe.
Flat: the flat gets a lot of natural light and has very high ceilings. The rooms are very spacious. The kitchen has all the amenities (washing machine, microwave, two freezers, coffee machine, dishwasher, air fryer and toastie machine)
Existing flatmate: Female, 31. I am a solicitor and work from home two or three days a week. I love to go to stand up comedy and tend to spend my weekends in some form of pub. I am also an avid reader (the books in the living room being the clue). I tend to have friends round once every week/fortnight for dinner.
Existing catmate: I have a friendly and curious cat, Steve. He is well behaved and wouldn’t require any input from you unless you wanted to make friends!
You: It would be great if we have lifestyles, so I am looking for a professional who is based at the office/some days from home. I have an established friendship group in London and am often out on weekends so ideally you would also have an established social life. Although I would happy with the odd pub trip/ night watching the tv.
Access info: The flat is on the first floor and has two sets of stairs to access it. The flat itself is across one floor. Annoyingly there is no lift to the flat. There is an intercom system to access the building but it doesn’t not have any other security measures.
