Tenancy: I am the existing tenant and there is 18 months remaining on the fixed term. You would be replacing the exiting tenant. I can be pretty flexible with move in dates.
Area: the flat is 10 mins walk from Tooting Broadway tube station, 5 minutes from a big Lidl and 2 minutes from a corner shop to buy a last minute bottle of stress wine. The estate is really quiet and safe.
Flat: the flat gets loads of natural light and has very high ceilings. The rooms are very spacious and I’m very open to decorative inspo! The kitchen has all the amenities including a dishwasher (London miracle!).
Existing flatmate: Female, 31. I am a solicitor and work from home two or three days a week. I love to go to stand up comedy and tend to spend my weekends in some form of pub. I am also an avid reader (the books in the living room being the clue). I am looking for a flatmate who I can be friends with as well as live with. It would be great to have a drink with a flatmate every now and again but respect each others space.
Existing catmate: I have a friendly and curious cat, Steve. He is well behaved and wouldn’t require any input from you unless you wanted to make friends!
You: It would be great if we have similar lifestyles and similar interests (taste in pubs).
Access info: The flat is on the first floor and has two sets of stairs to access it. The flat itself is across one floor. Annoyingly there is no lift to the flat. There is an intercom system to access the building but it doesn’t not have any other security measures.
There is an existing pet (Steve pictured) therefore any pets may be a bit tricky as he is used to being the king of the castle but happy to consider pets.
