Double Room Tooting Broadway - 1st August

Hello!

I’m Cath and my housemate Soraya (Soy) are looking for a new housemate to move in at the start of August to our lovely three bed house (with study) in Tooting Broadway.

A little about us:

Cath:
I’m a 34 year old Barnsley girl who’s been living in London for over two years now! I work as a civil servant 🕵🏻‍♀️ (imagine if you bought Sherlock Holmes from TEMU). I enjoy having a shopping trip to Oxford Street and Battersea Power Station. I enjoy going to the pub and socialising but also love binge watching a crime drama or trash TV and chilling on the sofa!. I’m always up for meeting new people but appreciate my own time/space. I love going to watch rugby/football at the pub with friends (rugby obviously for the sport 😜).

Soraya:
I work in book publishing as an Editor and work hybrid with two days in the office.
Love non-fiction books, vinyl records and pop culture. Also enjoy binging a crime documentary and cooking a 10/10 meal for the house, complete with a cocktail or two, or going to the pub and enjoying spending time with mates. Downtime is important to me and I like enjoying my rent aka rotting in bed sometimes but I do enjoy social time and meeting new people. Bonus points for anyone that supports Man United or loves Oasis and Kendrick Lamar - we’ll get on fantastically.

Our housemate Mike is moving out to live with his boyfriend in Brighton but we have loved living together and would love to find someone who also enjoys a friendly and sociable dynamic with respect for each others space and boundaries.

The house is right next to Tooting Broadway market with lots of supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants on our doorstep!
The house has three bedrooms (Cath has the attic room with an en-suite) and the available room is at the rear of the house and the bathroom at the end of the corridor will be shared with Soy. There is also a spare room which we use for odd things atm. There is a lovely garden that is a nice little sun-trap with bi-folding doors. The house is fitted with a dishwasher and other modern amenities. On street parking is available with a permit.

The northern line is a two minute walk away with other great transport links like buses and the overground.
In case we haven’t quite sold it to you yet… an M&S food hall has just opened!
