Stylish and cosy Tottenham home

Hey!

We are Axa and Ben - both born and bred North Londoners. We both work in the creative industries and are a combination of freelance and self employed business owners. Our work spans across music, tech, film, theatre and education.

We are renting out our spare room and are looking for a student, recent graduate or professional (ideally a femxle identifying person) to become a valued member of the house. We would love someone who has their own interests, but is considerate and tidy. We like to have our friends and family round for dinners, but also enjoy the house being calm and quiet. We would welcome your friends, family and partners, but we are not a party house. 


We both spend time working from home and also in our various work locations but we mainly spend time at home on weekends and evenings. We are open to the odd meal together here and there if wanted but otherwise we will leave you to beat to your own drum and do your own thing.

We are not open to someone who will be WFH every day or studying from home every day, but we understand there could be the odd day or two where this may happen. Would be open to a longer stay let but 6 months is our minimum

It is a semi serviced house with all bills included and also a cleaner. We will replenish the toilet paper, kitchen towel rolls, cleaning products etc when they run out (these are costs that are baked into the monthly rent already and thus savings for you). We will also lead on all gardening, taking out kitchen bins, and general house maintenance. We have a car and if I'm doing a grocery shop and you'd like to do your own as well, feel free to come along.

Welcome to bring some items of furniture if you have them and you think they will fit in the room
You can rearrange the layout and decor in your room as you wish
Hanging photo frames or fairy lights are fine too

Lots of space: 3 bedroom home with large communal areas
Shared spaces: 1 bathroom with toilet, entryway and stairs, garden, living room, kitchen & dining room
All plates, cups, and machines for general day-to-day use are provided. You do not need to bring your own
Living room has large TV and original fireplace
Clothes drying rack is provided and access to washing line in garden
No smoking in the house but can smoke in the garden
Garden has cute lighting and a cosy firepit
Parking is available on the road
There is an Inpost & Amazon locker 1 minute walk from us

⚡Netflix, Amazon Prime, TV licence, crazy fast fiber internet, Council Tax, Cleaner, Electricity, Water, Heating, all included in the price!

🎯Transport:

The house is a 5 - 10 mins walk from 🚈 Bruce Grove Overground station which takes you directly into Liverpool Street and many east london locations.

By 243 or 123 Bus:
15 mins from 🚇Seven Sisters Station (Victoria Line)
15 mins from Tottenham Hale Station (Victoria Line)
25 mins from Turnpike Lane Station (Piccadilly Line)

By Tube:
15 mins to Kings Cross for 🚄 Eurostar
20 mins to Oxford Circus

By Car:
3 mins from A406 and A10 🚘

🛍 Shopping:
Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury all within 10 minute walk
Great local shops selling fresh croissants and bread. There are butchers, fruit & veg stalls and local Caribbean, Turkish, African produce.

🏀 Sports and health:
10 mins walk to Gym
1 mins walk (it's on our road lol) to Bruce Castle park , great for walking and running

🌱 Cleanliness and tidying up are important, we expect you to clean up after yourself, especially in the kitchen, toilet, shower. However, we have a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks who will hoover, mop, dust, take out bins, clean all communal areas and your bedroom. We have a shoes off house policy.

💸 All bills included, £900 per month rent (due at the start of the month)
£450 DEPOSIT + 1 month RENT.

The room is available from 1st November but get in touch if you need it sooner or later.
