Double Bedroom in a Nice Riverside Apartment

One double room to rent in a three-bedroom, 8th-floor riverside apartment. You’ll be sharing with me and my good friend Julia.

About the house:
The house is located in ‘Hale Village’, 4 min walk from Tottenham Hale station (Victoria Underground / National Rail). There is a Tesco and ‘The Gym’ across the street, 1 min walk away. The flat has a very big terrace, big living room combined with the kitchen, with our TV & PS5. :)

Bills are not included in the rent but they are around £130 per person each month, including council tax, wifi, gas, electric etc. Some bills are paid quarterly. We use split wise for group expenses.

About the room:
This cosy bedroom comes with a lovely canal view, a double bed, a clothes rack with foldable shelves and a chest of drawers with more book shelves on top. This is the smallest bedroom out of the 3 and unfortunately, you can’t fit a desk in there. But since the rest of us work from our rooms, you can just use the living room table or sofa if you needed to do some work. If you work in an office, this shouldn’t be an issue. The shared area is super nice!
The flat has 2 bathrooms, so you will be sharing one with Julia (the other one is Ed’s en suite)

About us:
Ed, 24. Project manager at a UX research company. I usually work from home. I’m quite extraverted and enjoy socialising and going out for different events. Interests include: boardgames, film & cinema, sporty activities, listening to gay pop. I am Latvian and speak English, Latvian and Russian. 😂 My fav films are mother! and Nocturnal Animals.

Julia, 27. Product manager at a tech startup. Often work from home.
Now the fun stuff: I like disco and don’t like social and economic injustice. I have a soft spot for Cher and ABBA. I am very neat and expect housemates to be clean in shared areas. I enjoy socialising less than Ed, so I appreciate my me time sometimes. Three Billboards outside of Ebbing Missouri is probably my fave film.
