Description
The apartment is very modern, really bright with lots of natural light and the rooms are well laid out. The open-plan kitchen and living area is very spacious and the kitchen is fantastic: high quality materials, lots of space and Bosch appliances will make it fun to cook there. The apartment is on the 12th floor of the building and positioned so that we will not hear any noise from roads, train tracks or similar (if the windows are open, otherwise the high-quality windows seal everything out anyway). The building has its own gym, co-working areas and a really cool rooftop terrace, all of which are free to use for us. Tottenham Hale station is just a 2-minute walk away, from where the Victoria line will get you anywhere in Central London quickly.
The available room is labeled “Bedroom 2” in the floor plan (see the last photo). Thanks to the two floor-to-ceiling windows, the room gets plenty of natural light and is really cozy thanks to the wooden floor. A large fitted wardrobe (behind the door) offers a lot of storage space. We also have a storage room and a separate utility room where the washing machine is located, which still has plenty of space.
You would have your own bathroom, which is labeled “Bathroom” in the floor plan. Even though the bathroom isn't a second ensuite, you’ll have it just for yourself. I promise that my guests will only use my ensuite at all times, so you will have your private bathroom directly opposite your room.
For the entire apartment, the Council Tax is around £180 and all the utility bills will probably be around £150.
My offer to rent the apartment was only accepted a few days ago, so I will only be moving in on November 4 too. So in addition to the existing furniture, we would have the chance to set everything up the way we like it.
Here's a little bit about me:
I'm a 28 year old software engineer and just moved to London a few weeks ago for a new job. I'm originally from Germany and have been living in shared flats for the last 5 years. I'm a sports enthusiast and regularly train on my road bike and at the gym, but also like to try all sorts of sports. It would be super cool if you are also a sporty person and we could exercise together! I definitely like connecting with new people, but I also enjoy spending an evening at home with a closer circle of friends, cooking, chatting or playing some games. When I need a little time for myself, I enjoy reading books on personal development, trying to improve myself 😄 In a previous flat share, I really enjoyed discussing these topics casually in the kitchen, sometimes with more depth, sometimes less.
Above all, I'm looking for someone who doesn't just want to live together pragmatically, but wants to build a new friendship where we are lucky enough to live together.
