5-10 minutes walk away
Description
All bills included. Common consumables (e. g. toilet paper) also included. This is a new building that was completed in 2022. It's a two bedroom flat. Great location - under 10 mins walk to Tottenham Hale station. Another 10 mins to King's Cross/Euston station. 15 mins walk from flat to Tottenham Hale Retail Park, with Lidl, Asda, TK Maxx, Poundland, Iceland, B&M, B&Q, Boots, etc.
Two very lovely cats in the flat that are friendly to strangers. If you're allergic to pets, this isn't the place for you. But if you're neutral to them it's fine - they won't bother you unless you specifically want to pet them (which they love)! I'm pretty chill and looking for someone similar - you can have friends over to chill or have dinners, but no loud house parties please.
The room:
- Huge double bedroom
- Under bed storage
- Office space
- East-facing tall windows (Very good sunlight in the morning)
- Simba Hybrid Pro Mattress (Paid £900 for this last year)
- Manual height adjustable standing desk, 140cm width
- Steelcase Leap v2 Chair (One of the most comfortable chairs in the world, paid over £1000 for it)
- IKEA peg board
- IKEA touch lamp, three temperatures of light
- 3 Chest of cabinets for clothes
- 1 Clothes hanging rack
- A wardrobe can be optionally provided if preferred
The shared areas:
- Shoe cabinet for a row of shoes (about 3 pairs of space)
- Additional storeroom space if required
- Cocoon king-sized sofa bed (over £2500)
- 75" Samsung flagship TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Crunchyroll included)
- 75 mbps ultra highspeed internet
- Kitchen with high spec Bosch appliances, air fryer, Dolce Gusto & Nespresso coffee machine, Brita filtered water, variable temperature Bosch water kettle, fridge and freezer
- Massive outdoor balcony/terrace space. I have BBQs out there during the summer
- All plates, cups, and machines for general day-to-day use are provided. You do not need to bring your own
- There's bike storage in the building
Semi-serviced:
- A robot vacuum will clean the house at least once per day
- I will mop your room occasionally when I'm doing a general clean
- I will also replenish the toilet paper, kitchen towel rolls, toilet detergent, laundry detergent when they run out (these are costs that are baked into the monthly rent already and thus savings for you)
- I have a car and if I'm doing a grocery shop and you'd like to do your own as well, feel free to come along
- When it comes to house chores, I will clean the kitchen throughout the day, everyday. You should still try to clean up after yourself though, especially if you've been cooking. Cleaning the floors will be done by me too.
- In exchange, you are responsible for cleaning the toilet and taking out the trash (usually once a week). You can exchange tasks with me or do a round robin schedule, just let me know
* You can add additional white furniture or rearrange the layout in your room as you wish and I can help you if you'd like. Hanging photo frames or fairy lights are fine too. Painting the walls, probably not.
* If you've read all of this and am interested, do let me know what you do for a living, whether you'll be out on holiday regularly during certain periods of time (e. g. Easter), if you intend to have pets, and how often you cook. International students welcome.
