Description

Two equally sized rooms are available to rent in N20 for single occupancy only. One room comes with a comfortable double divan bed and side tables whilst the other room is unfurnished and can be used as a study or private living space. Potentially available for Monday-Friday let at reduced rent. Bills and cleaning included in rent. Available from 1st October although open to earlier start date if required.

Both rooms have inbuilt wardrobes and drawers, wired internet points, double blinds (black out and voile), floor to ceiling sliding windows and dimmer lights. The private bathroom has a walk in shower, lots of natural light, underfloor heating, heated towel rail and a heated mirror with lights and charging point. A utility room with a sink, separate washer and tumble dryer and drying space is on the same floor and available to use.

Please note that you will also have access to the bath in the main bathroom on the first floor as well as access to the kitchen, dining room and living room (NB no television). There is a separate WC on the ground floor. The house also has a patio and large established garden. The kitchen is well equipped with separate fridge and freezer, dishwasher and gas hob and double oven.

The house is a 7 minute walk to Totteridge & Whetstone Northern Line station, zone 5 (Kings Cross: 25 minutes; Tottenham Court Road: 28 minutes). Nearby Oakleigh Park Station gives you access to Great Northern and Thameslink overland services meaning you can get to Welwyn Garden City in the North or Sevenoaks in the South without changing trains. Off street parking is available and the M25 (15 minutes) or North Circular (10 minutes) is easily accessible.

Whetstone High Road is a 10 minute walk where you will pass or find Natures Nest (organic café and grocer), Waitrose, Boots and Boots Opticians, Post Office, M&S Food, a French bakery and deli and several excellent independent restaurants, bars and cafes. Meanwhile, the popular Orange Tree pub and restaurant is a 10 minute walk in the other direction.

South Herts golf club is located at the top of the road and Totteridge Tennis Club is less than two minutes' walk out of the rear garden gate. There are a number of off-road running routes around the Dollis Brook (extending to Hampstead Heath) and Darlands Nature Reserve. Oakleigh Park Tennis and Squash Club can be found in Whetstone and David Lloyd and Virgin Club are both a ten minute drive.
