Description

This is a stunning luxury flat in between Wapping & St Katherine's Dock, a short walk from Tower Hill tube station (Zone 1) and Shadwell overground & DLR. (30 mins to Canary Wharf door to door). It is decorated to a high standard with my art collection. Flat is opposite a park, next to a coffee shop and a 5 min walk from St Katherine's Docks, which is a great place to walk & grab a coffee. There’s a Waitrose 5 mins away and a small Sainsbury’s even closer.

The bedroom is a double room with 3 wardrobes and is hidden behind a secret bookcase door. It has a large window with blackout blinds and a queen sized bed already inside. It has a desk & chair in the room should you WFH.

I live in the master bedroom which is very well soundproofed so we can easily live independently.

The bedroom has a bathroom across the corridor, that is occasionally used by guests but otherwise belongs to this room. It features underfloor heating, a heated towel rail and a large waterfall shower with stone walls and flooring.

The living space is stunning - a huge open, modern kitchen with an induction hob, a convection oven, a steam oven and a boiling water tap. There is also a fridge/freezer with ice maker.

The lounge has got a 60 inch TV with Sky Q, Netflix, Amazon Prime, PS5 and an Apple TV. Hyperoptic provide the internet which is the fastest available and is included. There is air conditioning in the lounge area and heating throughout.

I will be working from home in the separate home office which is not pictured. Ideally if you also work from home, then we can work in our separate rooms and keep the lounge for either of us to unwind in, but flexible.

There is a small parking space by separate negotiation, perfect for a small car, motorcycle etc. I will rent this out if not needed, so not a huge issue if you don't need it. There is a Boris bike rack at the rear of the flat.

There is a 24 hour concierge in the building which is really useful if you have packages delivered or lock yourself out. There are security cameras in the hallway as well as electric locks on the door.

The cleaner comes once a week and will clean your bedroom/bathroom as part of the rent. The electricity, gas & council tax bills are all in my name and will be split, the rest are paid by me in full.

The ideal flatmate is someone who has a good social life externally but who is happy to socialise when we are both home. I own the flat and live in - but I'm often out in the evenings during the week and away some weekends. The flat is pet free.

About me - I'm 34, from Hampshire originally, and own a consulting business in the sports industry. I'm into football & F1, as well as going out to eat, looking to travel more now I've got a better work life balance. Learning to cook and speak French - lived in America for 13 years.
