St Katharine Docks, beside Tower Bridge

I am offering a large double bedroom in a purpose built flat on the edge of St Katherine’s Dock with exclusive use of the rest of the flat evenings and weekends.

I work from the flat during the day, weekdays only (I am a company director) and am also carrying out some minor improvements (mostly redecoration) but outside of these times I am not there. I do not stay overnight.

I'm happy to consider a short-term let and have recently had a Doctor seconded to one of London's teaching hospitals stay for a few months. The arrangement has worked well but I am only able to consider someone who does not need to work from home.

As well as the wonderful setting of the Dock with its myriad bars and restaurants, there's a Waitrose just across the road and also a dry cleaners and other shops.

The flat is equally well placed for access to the City, Borough, Wapping, Canary Wharf, the West End and Southbank.

The room would suit someone clean, tidy, respectful and responsible with good references who wants a Zone 1 location in a beautiful historic setting but without the price tag!

The kitchen and bathroom are shared as I make use of these facilities when I'm there.
