A double room is coming up in our cosy, modern flat in Shad Thames about 7 minutes from Bermondsey station and 15 minutes to London Bridge station. We’re also really close to Bermondsey Street, Maltby Street Market, the river and St Katharine Docks. It’s a great area if you’re into good food, cute wine bars and being able to walk everywhere.
About the flat 💜
The flat has a warm, homely feel and it’s in a friendly, family-orientated block. The kitchen and bathroom were recently refitted, there’s a spacious separate kitchen with a dishwasher and a cosy living room, and the bedroom comes with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and a desk. Permit parking is available at an extra cost.
The landlord is lovely and very responsive. My current flatmate is moving out after living here for four years, and is buying a flat 5 minutes around the corner. I’m sure whoever moves in will be meeting her at a dinner party/in the pub at some point.
Who I’m looking for 💫
A female working professional (around 24-29) who’s up for being friends as well as housemates
The boring bits 📆
Available from 6th January. The tenancy ends in February but I’ll be renewing for another year with a six-month break clause, and the landlord has confirmed rent will stay the same. Bills and council tax are around £160 a month, and are an of course a bit higher in winter. Planning viewings this week.
