Hello, unfortunately my flatmate is moving out early September. So, I am looking for a new flatmate, that I can get on just as well with.

We live in a really bright and spacious duplex apartment, a 5min walk from St. Katherine's Dock, about a 7min walk from Tower Hill Tube Station and a 10min walk from Aldgate Tube Station.

Flat:
The flat has windows on 4 sides, so it is super bright, with a separate living room and kitchen/diner. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 shared study, with a shared wardrobe. There is a separate toilet and sink/bath with shower on the first floor.
We have a decent sized terrace which is private and a sun trap.

Room:
The bedroom is on the first floor and includes a double bed, comfortable mattress, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
There is a large extra wardrobe space in the study, which can be used for storage.
The room is available from 6th September 2026, which can be flexible if needed.
The contract is 12 months with a 2-month mutual notice period.

Area:
The area is safe and is within close proximity to Wapping, St. Katherine's Dock, Aldgate, a series of Sainsbury's and Tescos, a huge Waitrose and a lot of yummy cafes/restaurants.

Landlord:
The landlord has been pretty good, responding to any requests for small repairs. The tenancy is per room, so we rent completely independently and directly to the landlord.

Room price is for single occupancy!

Approx. Bills £180/month

Housemate:
I am a 37 year old professional working in Tech in Shoreditch (5 days a week). I like working out, reading/writing and exploring the city. I am sociable and equally enjoy my alone time. I really value having a friendly and relaxed home to come back to and sharing a cup of tea / organising the occasional dinner with my flatmate or friends at the flat
