We are looking for a respectful, easy going new flatmate at our home in Tower Bridge.
A bit about the Flat: Although technically a flat, the space is spread out over three floors, feeling much more like a house. The ground level consists of a spare WC and good sized kitchen with all mod cons including a dishwasher. There is also a separate washing machine and dryer on this level. On the next floor, there is one bedroom (with en-suite), a large, bright lounge and balcony. The top floor has three bedrooms, and a bathroom.
Details of the Bedroom: The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe and set of drawers. Unfortunately, the room isn't available to couples and pets are not allowed. The property is non-smoking. The room is on the top floor and shares a bathroom with a two other bedrooms as well.
The room is available on March 22nd.
Cost: The rent is £787 GBP per month not including bills. Bills equate to roughly 120 GBP per month and this includes council tax, gas and electricity, water, TV licence and Virgin media broadband.
Location: The flat is in a small, friendly, ex-local authority building, in a fantastic spot between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. It is within walking distance of London Bridge, Tower Hill and Tower Gateway stations. In addition, there are various bus stops outside our block which run frequently throughout the day and night. Bus routes include the 188, 381, 42, 47, 78, RVI and 343 services.
There are also several bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the very popular Maltby Street Market is just across the road.
Other tenants: Currently there are three other female professionals here. We are more than happy to live with someone who identifies as female or non-binary, but we would prefer not to live with a man given the balance in the house.
We are all quite social, but busy people and would like someone who fits in with the house dynamic. Although we do like to hang out together, we aren't a party house, and are very respectful of each other’s space and cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we are looking for someone who feels the same way.
Unfortunately, we aren't going to be showing the room to anyone under 26, couples, men, students or smokers.
The first round of viewings is virtual with a short list invited to visit in person.
