Hello! I'm Isha (29), a live-in landlord renting out a double room in this two-bed, 1 study, 1 bathroom flat. I’m hoping to find someone like-minded, considerate and clean to share the space with!
The area: Goddard Place (where the flat is) is a set of purpose-built blocks in a gated community with communal green space, parking and bike storage. It's honestly a little sanctuary that feels very safe, and the neighbours keep a peaceful space. It's equidistant between Tufnell Park and Archway stations (around 7-8mins walk to each), and both ends have all the amenities you'd need +Tufnell Park has some lovely independent restaurants and cafes. Hampstead Heath is only a 15-minute stroll away, which is a dream if you love the Heath + the ponds as much as I do!
The flat: 1st floor flat (no elevator), recently renovated kitchen and bathroom, warm and light with south-facing kitchen/living room (good for sunshine all day) and north-facing bedrooms (cool at night). I'm still working on furnishing it as I moved in recently, but sofa and dining table + chairs are due to arrive in the next month!
The room: A comfortable double of 102 square feet, furnished with a double bed and mattress (full bedding provided if you need) and a large wardrobe. Room looks out onto a leafy view. I'm charging £1250/month for the room excluding bills and use of parking space. With parking space it's £1300/month.
A bit about me: I’m a working professional and in the office generally 3 days/week. In my spare time I love to cook and stay active. Pilates and dips in the Heath ponds are firm favourites! I’m sociable and would love a flatmate to share the odd meal or Heath walk with, while also keeping the flat the peaceful sanctuary it is. My ideal person strikes that same balance: friendly and warm, but respectful and tidy.
Ideally you’re someone who’s out most of the day like me, a non-smoker, and not a big drinker or party-goer, and someone who leans towards an active, wholesome way of living. If a quiet night in, a home-cooked dinner and a weekend swim sound like your idea of a good time, we’ll get on well! 🙂
