Location is very convenient for both connections across London. Besides the Northern Line, which takes you to central in 25-30 minutes, there are two buses: the 390 (which goes via King's Cross) and the 134 (which goes through Camden Town). Both run 24/7 and the bus stop is opposite the flat.
There's a good variety of local shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafes and restaurants too (including the local Palestinian spot "Café Palestina), which make Tufnell Park a lively community and neighbourhood.
I've lived in this flat & area for nearly 9 years, so I know my way around pretty well and I'll happily give you the proper local tour :)
