Bright double room close to Brockwell Park

Hi!

We’re looking for a new flatmate to join us in our three bedroom maisonette. It is 10-15 minute walk to either Herne Hill and Tulse Hill stations, and 10-15 minutes by bus to Brixton underground station.

The room is a good-sized double, comes furnished with a bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and desk. There is also plenty of space for a clothes rack/wardrobe, and storage in the hallway.

There is a large furnished living room with lots of natural light, and a separate kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. You'll be sharing the bathroom with one other person. There is also space for a bike in the entrance hall downstairs.

Brockwell is the best park in London in our view - there’s a lido, parkrun and brilliant music festivals in the summer 🌳🌻🌊Herne Hill has independent shops, a fab Sunday market and great pubs/restaurants 🍻

You would be living with:
- Sam (he/him), 26, civil servant, usually found cooking/baking, at parkrun on a Saturday morning or at the theatre.
- Reshma (she/her), 28, works for an environmental NGO and volunteers at the Brockwell Park community garden. Hobbies include bouldering, travelling and going out for drinks. It's a very friendly flat and we often socialise together in the evenings and weekends.

We are looking for someone who is:
- a similar age (25-31)
- professional (works from home and office)
- clean and considerate
- sociable and wants to spend time together as a flat
- LGBT+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Price doesn't include bills which are roughly £100-120 a month.

The room is available from the beginning of September - we are renewing the contract until September 2025.
