Hello. My flatmate Sam and I are looking for a new person to move in to our large garden flat in Tulse Hill (SW2 3DF) from mid/ end January
The room on offer is a good sized double bedroom when an ensuite bathroom, in a large 3/ 4 bedroom home with living room with large TV, main bathroom with a Japanese style jacuzzi bath/ shower, and a large jungle style south facing garden with sun terrace, summerhouse and a separate one bedroom building that the flat owner (Jamie) uses, though our friends/ visitors can use too.
The Victorian conversion flat is located in Tulse Hill, a few mins walk from the Thameslink Zone 2 station with fast journeys to London Bridge, the City, Farringdon, Kings Cross & Gatwick, and we are a 10min bus ride from Brixton tube. There are some nice pubs, cafes, restaurants, Picturehouse cinema and library a short walk away in Tulse Hill/ West Norwood.
We are mid 30s to early 40s professionals working in theatre agency and property/ construction communications. Whilst we are both sociable and outgoing (see pic from our Halloween party above!) we don't tend to bring the party home. The flat generally is a friendly place, we all get on and spend time together but enjoy our own space and as the flat is large (1100 sq ft) and the garden is huge (2500 sq ft plus outbuildings) there's usually ample space to do your own thing.
The rent is £890 per month with bills being all inclusive at +£175pm, and a month's deposit is required to move in. There's fast broadband WiFi, Paramount+, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+ plus smart home features and a cleaner comes weekly for 4 hours including cleaning the bedrooms, other tasks as required.
We are looking for a gay male 30s to 40s, who works full time and ideally office based with occasion days working from home (as we both do). Sorry but the flat is not suitable for anyone with pets.
The room is available from around 14th January 2025 and ideally someone will have moved in by the start of February, not later than this.
