Description
About the flat:
It's a cosy little flat on Thurlow Park Road with an opportunity for a tenancy swap for one of the rooms.
The windows are situated towards the back of the property (south facing) therefore, the rooms get a lot of sunshine throughout the day. That also makes the flat quieter, as it's not really picking up the traffic noise one might expect from the main road.
The room in question is the smaller one of the two in the flat. It comes with the double bed and a wardrobe. Despite it being a rather small flat, the fact that the bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms helps with having your personal space whilst being able to be social in the living room. There's a sofa, TV and a table in the common spaces.
It's pretty well connected with Central London, the walk to Tulse Hills station (with trains to London Bridge & Blackfriars, connection via Peckham Rye for overground) is only 4 minutes. Also handy is the West Dulwich Station (for trains Victoria) around 10 minute walk. Otherwise there's always buses 415, 3 & 468 to Brixton and Victoria Line from there.
There's a lot of parks (Dulwich, Brockwell) nearby which is pretty lovely in the Spring-Autumn season, local Picturehouse in West Norwood and a bunch of solid pubs.
The bills come together to around £151 per month person. The council tax is band C. The room is available from now (June 18th 2026), the contract you'll be taking over was initially for 2 years with 1 year break clause (Sept 2026).
In my personal opinion its a gem of a flat, especially in this economy and I've been very happy here for the last 4 years but alas its time for me to move on. Feel free to check it out for yourselves, I'm aiming to organise some viewings soon :)
