A lovely, bright double room is becoming available in my cozy flat in Streatham Hill – just a 10 minute walk to Tulse Hill station – from December 1st.

The Room
• Rent: £925/month
• Bills: around £150/month
• Spacious double room with white wooden floors – it’s got a peaceful, almost cottagey vibe
• Gets a lot of beautiful natural light
• Comes partly furnished – a few pieces will need replacing as they belong to my current flatmate who’s moving
• You’ll also have access to loads of shared storage space, including:
o A walk-in closet (we’d split)
o Plenty of cupboard space throughout the flat
The Flat
The flat is in an ex-council building with a real sense of community. We’re lucky to have lovely neighbours, lots of green space nearby, and a flat that gets amazing light all day.
Inside:
• Spacious lounge and kitchen – great for relaxing or hosting a few friends
• Bench-style dining table in the kitchen
• Cozy staircase leading up to the rooms and bathroom area
• Separate toilet and bath/shower room – the bath/shower room is on the smaller side, but totally functional
Outside:
• Cute balcony that overlooks a green communal space – great for morning coffee
Location Perks
• Close to a community-run nature park
• Handy corner shop under 5 minutes away
• A charity-run café nearby that does good coffee
• Quiet area overall – you might hear the odd party, but it’s rare
About Me

I just turned 30, work in the marketing field for a charity, and love a mix of chilled evenings and occasionally going out with friends. You’d also be sharing the space with my adorable 5-year-old long-haired chihuahua – she’s barks a bit for about 20 minutes when she first meets people (gets over excited), but once she calms down, it’s full-on cuddles and tail wags.
My boyfriend stays over a couple of nights a week, so I’m completely cool with your partner, friends or family visiting or staying over too – it’s your home as much as mine.

About You
Ideally someone in their late 20s to 30s, a working professional, who’s clean, kind, and respectful. Bonus points if you love dogs (or at least don’t mind sharing space with one small and very cute one).
Why the Room’s Available

My current flatmate is moving to Bristol to help care for her mum, so I’m looking for someone to join me in making this warm and welcoming flat feel like home again.
