Description

Hello!

I've been staying for two months here at Victor Villas, Chiswick
(Turnham Green, Zone 2) and
I'm helping my live-out landlord, Richard,
(who comes in every other weekend or even less often, has a separate attic room on the top floor)
to find a second tenant.

Some of the notable amenities:

- playground/tennis courts
- Underground/Bus connections,
St. James Park 30 min, Richmond 10min, Heathrow 45min
- Parking spot can be arranged.
- daily fresh fruit/veg markets nearby
- in walking distance GP,
Tesco, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencers, Poundland,...

- Kitchen with plenty of natural sunlight from windows facing East and South,
- Zanussi washing machine with various drying cycles (very useful in coming winter),
- AEG electric fan oven with see-through glass door and grill settings,
- 5 hob gas fire stove with built-in spark ignition,
- Toaster,
- Russell Hobbs microwave,
- Salter electric kettle,
- Rubbish/waste separating,

- Bathroom with bathtub, where I've been DIY-ing a little lately and hoping for a cheerful and open-minded housemate with ideas to contribute.
- Little window ventilation and central heating in the bathroom.

- central heating
- Stable wi-fi internet connection
- Carpeted
- Shelves
- Lamps
- Wardrobe and a bed

685 £/month including all the energy/water bills, broadband and council tax
645£ deposit can also be paid in two instalments (like in my case), there are arrangements available if necessary, TBC

2a Victor Villas W4 1RS, blue door,
google-street-view gives a good perspective of the surroundings, too.
Please excuse the big green rubbish bags, that's just recycling ready for collection.
The front is neater irl and another prospect for my humble DIY, too.

There is no shared living room/space, unfortunately.
Fortunately, there are Turnham Green Terrace and Chiswick High Road, seconds from the doorstep.
The river is 15min casual walk away with picturesque paths both in Kew Bridge(East) or Hammersmith Bridge(West) directions.

You'll see on the map we're very close to the station, but the trees on the green and double-glazed windows make any noise hardly noticeable.

About me.
I come from a little town in northern Slovakia.
Among other professions and general office work, I used to be an agency chef,
working for Shangri-La Hotel London, Winfield House - residency to US ambassador and loads of other venues.
Now I'm learning ropes at a construction company refurbishing properties in Notting Hill.
I've also spent a couple of years in Scotland, Oban and Isle of Mull and one summer on Guernsey, too.
I like to go for a walk by nearby high street and on a good day (when I manage to kick myself to it, regardless of the weather) a run to the river and Richmond Park. Appreciate a good movie or a crazy one.

Richard was a teacher. He writes now and is looking to publish his book soon.
Has an impressive library and music collection. Well-read, well-spoken and very polite. Lives with his lovely lady in Bedford.
Used to play with his band, too, before the lockdown measures.

Would you like to have a video call, ask me about the place and have an online walk-through?
Hope you like the pictures, have more if needed.
Take care and be safe.

Jacob
