Large double room near Turnpike Lane

Hey spare-roomies! We’re looking for a housemate for our three bedroom flat in Turnpike Lane, located about 10 mins walk from the tube (Piccadilly line) and close to the Haringey Ladder. Central London’s very easily accessible, but we also have Crouch End and Stoke Newington nearby for brunch/dinner/drinks.

The room is a very large double, with a bay window and old fireplace (style over substance tho). The house came largely unfurnished originally, but there’s a double bed in there and plenty of space for whatever furniture you bring along. The previous occupant is also offering his desk / clothes rail / drawers at prices to be discussed. The flat in general is very spacious and we have large open plan kitchen/lounge which makes a great communal space. It’s available any time from now.

Rent is £666 per month, and bills come in around £95 per month (covering water, electricity, internet, gas and council tax etc). There will also be a deposit to pay, potential admin fees and you may need to provide references.

A little bit about us – Sophie and I are both recent graduate vets, and met each other through work. We like to make the most of London and its social life (also hosting the odd party), but do also both work long hours so tend to be more relaxed during the week. We’re very tidy when it comes to the communal spaces, so we’re looking for someone who’s on the same wavelength there. We also have a wonderful one-eyed chonky cat called Harvey for you to make friends with.
