Cosy room in friendly flatshare in North London

Hi there,

We are Ludo, Farah, and Shalaka, three working professionals in our twenties, and we are looking for a fourth person to join our cosy and friendly household.

FLAT & ROOM

I's a four bedroom flat with one bathroom, a very luminous and spacious living room, a pretty big kitchen where we like hanging out in front of a cup of tea, and a cute little garden that is (too) often visited by foxes :)

The room rent is £650 per month, plus bills that amount to between £100 and £120 in winter. Our council tax band is D, and it amounts to £44 per month, included in the bills.

The rent period starts from the beginning of October, but we're looking for someone who can confirm their availability by the beginning of August.

AMENITIES & TRANSPORTS

Tesco is 5 mins away, Sainsbury's 8 mins and the high street has a bunch of other shops and restaurants (in 10 mins walking distance). The gym is also within 10 mins walking distance.

10 minutes walk Turnpike Lane station (Piccadilly line), and there are the 141 bus to London Bridge and the 29 bus to Trafalgar Square 5 minutes away.

We are also 15 minutes away on foot from Harringay Green Lanes (Overground) and less than 20 minutes away from Hornsey station (Great Northern Rail).

ABOUT US

Farah and Ludo (me) are big cinephiles and love watching movies and spending time dissecting them together. We also enjoy talking politics and social issues or simply chatting about our daily lives, and occasionally having friends over for dinner (well, at the weekend mainly!). We have a good balance between socialising and respecting alone re-charging time.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, we would like to offer this room to a fellow working professional between 25 and early 30s, who is willing to be more of a friend than just a flatmate, but is also respectful of personal space.

It's also important for us that this person is clean and tidy, available to share housework efforts with us, and willing to participate in decorating and making the house cosy and comfortable :)

P. S your move in date will be October first week, however, you may have to sign the contract from mid September because our housemate is leaving the country and did not want to sublet somewhere for 3 weeks. You will not be paying rent for the days you are not living there. Our agent is also aware about this. Happy to clarify further in chat :)
