Room w/ private patio in house near Turnpike Lane

Hello! We're looking for a new housemate to take a downstairs bedroom with its own private patio and semi-private bathroom in our beautiful four-bedroom house.

The room will be available from September 1. It comes furnished with a double bed, a desk, and a big chest of drawers. (You'll need to bring or buy a wardrobe/rail.) It's at the back of the house and leads out onto its own small private patio, perfect for a mini table and chair and some hanging plants! You'll also have access to a small bathroom, just across the hallway, with your own shower.

The house has been recently renovated, including a huge kitchen-dining space at the rear extension with lovely folding doors. There are three other bedrooms, a box/storage room, and an upstairs bathroom.

We are a 10-minute walk from Turnpike Lane Station (Piccadilly Line) on a quiet, residential street. Sainsbury’s is just around the corner. Very close to bus links and a huge park. Wood Green High Road and Harringay Green Lanes are both within walking distance, with supermarkets, restaurants, gyms, a shopping centre and a cinema complex. A short bus ride will take you to Alexandra Palace, Crouch End, Stoke Newington etc.

Your housemates will be:

Me, Rosa, a journalist. I work from home two or three days a week. In my spare time I like to explore London’s green spaces and bookstores, and go to movies, exhibitions and the theatre. I've lived here for over three years and really love the house and the area.

Lauren, a paraplanner. She works most days in the city, but in her spare time she enjoys feeding us Korean food, watching movies, gaming, and growing new plants. (Don't be too jealous when she frequently jets off to sunny Spain!)

Holly, a treasury officer in finance. She works mostly from home, with the occasional trip to the office. She enjoys crafting and reading, as well as going to concerts, the theatre and comedy shows. She says: I’m the newest member of the house and can happily say that this is a lovely place to live. The area is great and it’s been so easy to get settled in and make it home!

We're looking for a housemate who lives quite independently but also enjoys sharing a drink after work and wants to occasionally watch a film or cook together. We're eager to make sure this house is a peaceful, tidy and respectful home for everyone. Female professional preferred. LGBTQI+ friendly, no pets and non-smoking please.

Rent: £688 + bills
Council tax (Band D) is currently £41.50/month per person.
**Available from September 1**

If you think you’d be a good fit, please drop me a message with a little about yourself, including age, occupation, and whether you work from home. Looking forward to meeting you!
