Description
My housemates are leaving and I would like to stay so I'm looking for three new housemates!
The house is a 10 min walk to Turnpike Lane station with easy commute to central London, in a quiet residential neighbourhood but only a few minutes walk away from Lidl and Wood Green shopping mall. It was renovated before we moved in, so it's all only 1 year old.
Bills come to about £100-£130 on average depending on season (this includes council tax, which is band D).
Accessibility: Three steps to front door, downstairs has kitchen, small toilet/bathroom and the big bedroom. Three steps down into the garden. It's 15 steps up to first floor with the other bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower.
Room 1 for £800 (excl. bills): big double on ground floor, facing a quiet road, double divan bed and built in wardrobe. could easily fit a desk and shelves
Room 2 for £730 (excl. bills) : medium double, first floor facing quiet road, double divan bed and built in wardrobe, can fit some shelves or a desk
Room 3 for £700 (excl. bills): small double facing garden, built in wardrobe, my housemate has been using it as an office but a bed can be provided. As this is the smallest room there’s a hallway shelf that can be utilised for extra storage.
The living room was unfurnished and the furniture belongs to my current housemates. So you’re welcome to bring your own furniture, though the landlord has agreed to get a sofa if needed.
The contract will be a joined 1 year, people would have to pass referencing. Referencing is through the estate agent, but we’ve dealt with the landlord directly for anything else. He’s quick to fix things and has treated us well.
Me: I’m a 30yo queer trans guy, I’m an actor/artist but work customer service in a theatre. I am autistic and often need time alone to recharge but also often up for a chat or a hang if people feel like it.
Definitely would prefer other LGBTQIA+ people. This house is a calm, clean space and I'm looking for people who contribute to cleaning and also are looking for a home rather than just a house to stay in.
