Double Room in Sociable Shared Flat

I’m renting out my double bedroom in a friendly, sociable shared house in Turnpike Lane.

My contract is coming to an end, so this would be a brand new tenancy agreement, starting fresh. I currently live with my two best mates from uni – we’re all very close and the house has a great, relaxed vibe. I’m only moving out because I’m moving in with my partner.

You’d be living with two great guys: one works as a financial journalist and the other as a technology consultant. We’re all sociable and get on really well — we especially enjoy movie nights, and we have a projector set up in the living room which makes it a great space to relax together.

The flat itself is spacious, tidy and sociable. We usually have a cleaner come once a month to keep on top of things. There’s also a lovely local pub downstairs – it’s generally quiet, but perfect for grabbing a drink after work or socialising without having to travel far.

The kitchen is fully equipped with shared appliances, cookware and utensils, so you won’t need to bring much with you.

The bedroom is bright and generously sized, with lots of natural light thanks to a large attic window. It comfortably fits two wardrobes, a big desk and also has built-in wall storage – perfect for boxes, bags or extra bits.

It’s a great home for someone looking for a welcoming, social house while still having their own spacious, peaceful room.
