🌿Large double room in friendly garden flat🏡

We have just secured a lovely, spacious flat in Turnpike Lane, which will be available on the 26 March. We’re hoping to find a third housemate who feels like a good fit and can join us on the tenancy agreement.

🏡 The flat
The flat is bright and spacious, with lots of natural light and a huge back garden right next to a lovely field and park. It has one bathroom, an additional toilet, a spacious kitchen, and a very large separate living room, so there is plenty of shared space.
The room is a large size - see floorplan from photos- and has a large window the faces thr garden.
The flat comes unfurnished buy the landlord is happy to leave the furniture in the bedroom (bed, mattress and wardrobe) if it's preferred.

👋 About us
We are both mental health professionals. We are left leaning, and we’re looking to live with someone who shares similar values and wants a friendly, collaborative atmosphere at home.

In her free time Lore helps out in a soup kitchen once a week and she's about to join a folk choir. Nadia is very passionate about music and plays percussion with a local band, though there will not be any playing at inappropriate times!

📅 Viewings and process
We will receive the keys to the flat when the contract begins on 26 March, so we do not yet have access to the flat. We can share a video so you can get a feel for the space. As the agency prefers to limit viewings at this stage, we would firstly arrange to meet for a coffee and a chat and make sure it feels like a good fit before organising an in person viewing.

💷 Rent
£900 per month plus bills which we estimate will come to around £120 each per month, maybe slightly more in winter.

🐈‍⬛ The cat
will be the fourth housemate 😊 so please bear that in mind if you have allergies.
She's a very sweet, playful and sociable kitty and she'll reward you with a purr if you join her silly plays or help her catch a fly.

🐳 Living together
We are hoping to create a relaxed, supportive, and respectful home rather than just a place to sleep, where people enjoy sharing the space, whether that’s the occasional cooking together or chatting in the living room, while also respecting each other’s need for quiet time and personal space. We appreciate a clean home and are looking for someone who naturally helps keep shared spaces comfortable and clean for everyone.
