Description
We’re looking for a third housemate to join us in a lovely, spacious flat in Turnpike Lane, available from 26 March. Our original third housemate had to drop out, so we’re hoping to find someone who feels like a good fit both practically and socially.
🏡 The flatThe flat is bright and spacious, with lots of natural light and a huge back garden next to a field. It has one bathroom, an additional toilet, a spacious kitchen, and a very large separate living room, so there is plenty of shared space.
👋 About usWe both work in mental health and are hoping to create a calm, supportive and respectful home rather than just a place to sleep. One of us volunteers in a soup kitchen and is about to join a folk choir. Nadia is very passionate about music and plays percussion with a local band, though there will not be any playing at inappropriate times! We are both progressive, politically engaged, and enjoy music and films. We’re looking to live with someone who shares similar values and wants a friendly, collaborative atmosphere at home.
📅 Viewings and processWe will only receive the keys when the contract begins on 26 March, so we do not yet have access to the flat. We can share photos and videos so you can get a feel for the space. As the agency prefers to limit viewings, we would first arrange a video call to meet and make sure it feels like a good fit before organising an in person viewing.
💷 Rent£900 per month plus bills.
🐱 Other important infoThere will be a cat living with us, so please bear that in mind if you have allergies.
If this sounds like your kind of home, we’d love to hear from you and arrange a chat 🙂
