I'm looking to rent this spacious double room in my house, just a very short walk away from Turnpike Lane Underground, which can get you into Central London in 20-25 minutes. This is also a major bus hub for transport all over North London, and is conveniently located right next to Wood Green High Road, a major shopping area with everything you could need (including cinemas, gyms, 3 major supermarkets and lots of other independent food and goods shops). The house is just one road over from Belmont Recreation Ground, and 5 minutes walk from the much larger Lordship Recreation Ground. Despite the proximity and convenience, Mannock Road is a quiet and safe street with very little noise at night.

The room is fully furnished (including bed linen) and comes with ample storage and a desk for your use, any of which can be removed at your request. The rent is all-inclusive of energy, water, internet and council tax (band C). I am asking for a deposit, but the amount is negotiable upon request. The room is available now, and you can move in at your convenience.

My name is Ed, and I'm an NHS Physiotherapist. I'm a new homeowner after being a North London Tenant in various houses for years, so I understand the struggle. I'm looking to provide someone a stable, fair and friendly place to live, with maximum respect to your rights as a lodger. In my free time, I'm a musician, fitness enjoyer and big-time nerd (Dungeons and Dragons, Board Games, Video Games, Movies, Books - Any). I don't practice music in the house, so don't worry about noise! I like to be social, but to keep a respect for privacy and personal space when appropriate. I love to share meals and hobbies, but as a healthcare worker I absolutely get when time alone is needed to decompress. You'd be welcome to have friends over whenever, so long as they are respectful of the space. There is a sofa bed available too if anyone needs to stay overnight, and they'd be welcome to it.

I am non-binary, and use they/he pronouns, and would be looking to live with someone who is respectful of this. Of course, you'll find me a respectful and accepting person in return.
