Description
Hiya! I’m subletting my room for 40/ 5 weeks-ish days as I’m going away on a trip to Thailand.
Sublet period is from the 8th of May to the 17th of June
The room has a small balcony, two closets, one is walk in, the other is large aswell. The desk will be clear by May as I’m selling the pc so dw! It is a mattress on the floor situation sorry! Embarrassing IK but it’s comfortable. I usually put it up against the wall when I need more space. My room is completely smoke free, but my flatmates smoke in living room out of the window. I’ll try and clear as much of my stuff out into communal storage before move in don’t worry! And if you’d like I can take down my posters and decorations aswell.
The flat has a decently sized living room and massive private garden we like to throw barbecues in! There’s a washing machine and freezer in the living room cupboard, along with communal storage space. The bathroom’s shower is also a working bathtub.
N22. The flat is an 8 minute walk / 700m away from Turnpike lane station, piccadilly line, and 15 minutes away from Bruce Grove Overground Station. Takes about 25 minutes to get to King’s cross station. The area is really nice aswell, you’re super close to lordship recreation ground which is a wonderful park, and crouch end or Haringey green lanes are a quick walk aswell.
You’ll be staying with 3 other people ages 24-30. My wonderful and fun flatmates are Tommy who’s an auctioneer, Skinny who’s a jewellery designer, and Ben who’s a writer. Tommy and Skinny share the largest bedroom and Ben has the one across the hall, he does have a partner who is sometimes over aswell, but they’re currently at an artist residency in france indefinitely! They are super queer friendly (aka super chill and accepting of me) or aligned themselves and incredibly fun! Always up for a chat or a night out but we also respect each other’s space and keep the communal areas tidy. We have a projector to host movie nights with and we also share subscriptions to some literature magazines like the London Review of Books etc. Our communal bookshelf in the living is filled with some great reads.
Message if you have any questions! And I’m happy to send more pictures.
