Room for Rent: Lower Clapton, near Clapton Station

We have a double room available in my parents’ house.

Household
My dad is elderly, retired and spends most of his time quietly in his room.
My mum is in her 60s and still works full-time.
Both my parents are Nigerian.

The Room
Large, bright double room with two windows that bring in plenty of natural light.
Comes fully furnished with a double bed, a quality mattress (less than 6 months old), a double wardrobe with a mirror, and a chest of drawers.
Space available for a small desk and chair if desired.

Looking for:
A clean, tidy, and quiet lodger.
No couples, children or pets
No smoking allowed in the house please.

Rent
£700 per month, inclusive of all bills (council tax, gas, electricity, water, high-speed broadband, and TV license).

The House
Maisonette over 3 floors:
Ground Floor: Hallway and kitchen.
Middle Floor: Living room with balcony, small toilet, and the available double room.
Upper Floor: Parents’ bedroom, bathroom, and a small double room.
Please Note: The house is a bit dated, and we are planning to refurbish it within the next year or two.

The Area

Parking
There is on-street parking. A resident permit is required, which you can apply and pay for.

Train line
House is only a 6–8 minute walk to and from Clapton Station
National Rail, Zone 2–3, with quick, 15-minute travel to Liverpool Street.
Train line runs between Liverpool Street and Walthamstow stations.
