Monday-Friday room to let in Hackney

Hello. Four nights (Mon-Fri or Sun-Thurs) only. Small double bedroom (12 x 7) in spacious 2-bed flat in a Grade II listed Georgian house. Conservation area, Zone 2.

French windows to patio. Coir floor + simple modern Muji clothes rail with storage boxes. Plenty of shelves for more storage. Small pull-out desk.

Mod cons: Miele/Siemens appliances. Fast broadband and BBC iPlayer licence for content streaming. Ironing board + iron in room + Revo DAB radio. Large garden with olive trees, acers, herbs + sitting out areas etc.

Myself, I’m a mid-fifties writer and tend to work from home. I’ve had five long-term Monday-Friday lodgers since 2010.

If you're interested in getting in touch a bit of detail about yourself and any priorities/needs/routine would be good. Awareness about energy use is preferred as bills are included. The room is not shared but a few times a year is used for guests at weekends.

Transport: a two-minute walk to bus stop (253/254 non-stop to Euston) and 10 minutes to Manor House/Finsbury Park for Victoria and Piccadilly tube lines. Stoke Newington overland/City/Liverpool St is a 10-minute walk.

Three-minute walk to recently upgraded Springfield Park (free tennis courts, canal, cafe) and it's a 12 minute walk to the cafes and bars of Stoke Newington. Good access to M11 via Leabridge Road/Whipps Cross/North Circular.
