Description

I have a good sized double room in "homely home" that is nicely furnished and well kept. There is a sitting room and a conservatory that is used as a second sitting room so plenty of room for two. Nice sized dining room and a kitchen big enough for two. Upstairs there is a shared bathroom and 3 bedrooms (the box room is a home office).

I have a large garden which I do my best to keep neat and tidy. I have garden furniture that makes it a nice place to sit out in when the weather is good. I have a Webber bbq which I use regularly. If you are into cooking, I have apple tress and a few fruit bushes.

The house is 5 minutes by bus to West Norwood, 5- 10 minutes to Crystal Palace Triangle and about 10 mins to Tulse Hill. You can walk to Norbury rain station in 15-20mins. I have a driveway and there is plenty of on street parking.

I've had house mates on and off at my home for 11 years with most of them staying for around 3 years before moving in with partners or moving out of London. I'm still in contact with most of them which is a testament to a good living experience with each other.

House mates have been male and female, from 23-55 years old and both LGBTQ+ and straight. I'm completely open to the demographic of the person I live with as long as they are friendly, fun and respectful. It would be good to have someone "value add" in the home.

A bit about me. I'm a gay man, 45, work in the City 3 days a week and 2 from home (home office). I cycle to and from work, go to the gym and do my best to have a healthy life. I love, love, love good coffee and will travel for it! I also love food, meeting new people and travelling. I ride a motorbike (Harley) and do big European trips every year, as well as ski every winter. I love sport and used to play rugby - those days are gone!

My days of partying hard are behind me but I still love to have a dance. A big part of my life is my dog Oscar. He is well trained, has a large kennel outside and comes inside when I am home. He doesn't go upstairs and isn't allowed on the furniture. Any potential house mate must be comfortable around a large dog. He will bond with you and you will feel safe with him around.

My home is my sanctuary from the craziness that the world can sometimes throw at us. Harmony, respect, and kindness is the vibe I like to have in the home. Yes, plenty of nice smelling candles! The house is well maintained and kept clean daily/weekly.

If you are interested in considering my home as your next home then please reach out. I always suggest a call first, then a visit, and then if you are keen I will invite you back for brunch to see if it will work.
