Description
Beautiful Double Ensuite in Calm, Friendly, Stylish Victorian Home in Wood Street, Walthamstow
FLEXIBLE on move-in dates in February or March.
I’m looking for the right person to share my much-loved Victorian home in Wood Street. This is a relaxed, welcoming house with a good rhythm , social when it suits, calm when it doesn’t . A place that genuinely feels like home rather than a rental.
Available from 6 February | £1,095 pcm all-in (deposit £700)
The Home
A freshly painted and newly decorated four-bed Victorian terrace with high ceilings, original features and a warm, considered feel.
• Modern cons kitchen with dining area and cosy lounge. Beautiful fireplace to light in winter.
• Landscaped garden with herbs and veg — perfect for morning coffee, summer evenings, or a glass of wine outside
• Outdoor laundry area (washer & dryer)
• One room is my bedroom, one my home office, one is a guest room — the house never feels overly crowded. I do have occasional guests stop over
The Room
A bright, front-facing double with beautiful natural light, original fireplace and private ensuite.
• Fully furnished with a high-quality bed and mattress
• Brand-new wardrobe arriving early February
• Freshly painted this weekend
• Space available for a desk in the guest room if you work from home or want a dedicated study area
The Area
Wood Street / Walthamstow has a fun, friendly, village-like energy with loads to do on your doorstep.
• Excellent local restaurants, pubs and bars, plus the Soho Theatre Walthamstow for comedy, theatre and live events
• Lloyd Park Saturday market just down the road — great food stalls, coffee and a proper community feel
• Easy access to Walthamstow Village, Epping Forest and local breweries
• 15-minute walk to Wood Street Overground (direct to Liverpool Street)
• Multiple bus routes nearby and easy access to Walthamstow Central
• On-street parking available
About Me (and Rosie 🐾)
I work from home (in HR) and enjoy a balanced, tidy, easygoing household. I love cooking, film nights, hosting friends and family, travelling around UK and beyond, long walks, hiking, wine tasting, live music, and exploring what’s on locally. Not a party house, but a friendly, casual environment where you can relax, have a chat, or do your own thing.
Rosie is my small, well-trained, comical, affectionate dog and very much part of the home, loving dogs is essential.
Practicalities
• £1,095 per month including all bills (council tax, utilities, broadband with booster, Sky TV, Netflix, Apple TV, Ring security)
• No couples, no smoking, no additional pets
If this sounds like your kind of home, message me with a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for.
Happy to meet for a cuppa and a chat to see if it’s a good fit on both sides and to show you around.
