Description
Hello! We're looking to fill a very nice double room in our beautiful house, as one of our housemates is spreading her wings to live with their partner.
THE ROOM/HOUSE
The room is a large sized double room that comes with two big built-in wardrobes with lots of storage, a desk, an armchair, a bed, and a very large and sunny window looking over a quiet street. We have a very large living room, large bathroom, large kitchen, and a massive lush garden growing food which catches lots of sun. The rent is £620 per month (bills are separate), and the room is available from the 4th of December until next April (shorter term lets considered). However, an earlier moving in November if necessary can be negotiable. Unfortunately, we can't accept pets or couples. Bills range between £100 and roughly £160 each per month depending on the season:
Energy: £25 - 80 (higher in the winter)
Water: £10
Internet: £7.25
Council tax: £50
The deposit is one month's rent.
HOUSEMATES
We are three people (ages 30's-40's), E (she/they), C (she/her) and E (she/her). We are from all over the world and do a range of different occupations (researcher/teacher, cultural activist, charity project manager). We're easy going, independent and sociable people with many diverse interests ranging from travelling, gardening, cooking, and arts & culture at large, to holistic health and social justice. In this instance we are looking for someone aligned who appreciates a peaceful environment of house-sharing with a community spirit, and good communication skills.
LOCATION
Wood Street overground station- 8 min walk
Whipp's Cross bus stand - 5 min walk
Snaresbrook tube station - 18 mins walk
Walthamstow Central tube station - 25 min walk
The house is on the edge of the Epping Forest and Hollow ponds, so it has a lot of accessible green space nearby. Also conveniently located for those who mostly dwell in East / SE London, very well communicated with Hackney (10min), Liverpool Street (20min), and Brixton (30min).
VIEWINGS
If you're interested and fitting the criteria please send a message introducing yourself, your age, your occupation, your day-to-day lifestyle, your expectations, and your availability alongside any questions and we will get back to you :) Please note that no other messages not including that information or such as 'is still available' will be replied. The ad will be unpublished as soon as the room will be taken. Many thanks !
