Description
Sadly my best mate is moving out for a new job in another city, so me and my cat are going to be looking for a new roomie to join us in our cosy flat <3
The Room:
It will be coming unfurnished! So you'll have to make sure to have your own bed etc. But the room is a decent size.
The Flat:
It's bottom floor of an apartment building, based on Wood Street, 10 mins walk from the overground station. We have the garden right out our back doors, it's shared with the building but isn't often used by anyone which is nice. It's a surprisingly quiet space making it a bit of a safe haven.
The living room and kitchen are one room, I haven't included them in the pictures but we both comfortably have our desks in there too which you'd be free to do as well if you work from home at all/wanted to.
Me and my current flatmate bought all the furniture together so will be splitting it up when she leaves. I'll be keeping the sofa though so no need to worry about that.
The Area:
We've got some great pubs in the area, then not too far is also Gods Own Junkyard and Walthamstow Village with lots of nice spots to get a coffee or a pint. We've got Lloyd Park not too far, then Walthamstow central is a walk away too which is very handy with a shopping centre and cinema. Also on the Viccy line which is super useful!
A bit about me:
Just turned 28 and I work as a Music Editor for TV & Film. In the office 2-3 days a week and have a fair amount of events come up for this on weekday evenings.
In my spare time I'm often working on my own music along with many random creative projects. I'm pretty into gaming and films, at the pub with friends, go to gigs etc etc.
As mentioned I live with my cat, Buckley. He's almost 2 years old now and the light of my life. He is super friendly and cuddly, if he likes you he'll come sit on your lap while you're on the sofa.
Most importantly - He is a house cat, so my priority is looking for someone who I can trust with him. Although I do have a catpack & harness for him and when the suns out I take him to the park and out in the garden.
A bit about you:
Would be nice to find someone who has some similar interests and likes to chill, but also has a good balance of doing their own thing.
The flat needs someone who is generally respectful at night, I've lived with people who aren't considerate of that before... Not looking to relive that again!
I am and would also hope you are LGBTQAI+ & Neurodiverse friendly too <3
Boring bit (but important):
Rent is £825 + bills (which ultimately comes to about £1000 all together)
We split everything 50/50 in the flat.
Hit me up with some info about you, I'll be doing a limited amount of viewings as it's just me. Will be holding them in the next week or two.
Looking forward to this new chapter and getting to meet you!
